Our Meeting
This meeting will focus on how to “mind the gaps” in YWAM in areas such as language, geography, education, and income. What does God want to say to us as Circle 18? We will hear from Lynn Green and Jim Stier, and we will have a prayer time at a retreat center as well as an outing to see a bit of Curitiba, and have some Brazilian barbeque. We will conclude with practical working groups.
Our Schedule
Thursday: We will offer optional tours of the base on Thursday morning, but otherwise the morning will be free. Then we will begin on Thursday afternoon with a welcome and introduction to Circle 18. Perhaps we can hear from Lynn by Skype. We will also introduce the question we want to pray about and discuss: how to “mind the gaps” in YWAM today between languages, cultures, geography, income and education. What is God calling us to do as Circle 18?
Friday: We will travel to a garden retreat area in Curitiba and there we will spread out to pray about what we sense God saying about minding the gaps in YWAM. We will come back together to report on what we have heard. Then we will go out to eat at a steak restaurant. We will have the rest of the afternoon free and then will have an evening session at 7:00 when we will evaluate what we have received in prayer.
Saturday: We will begin with a devotion and a worship time. Then we will possibly break into small groups to explore solutions that we sensed in prayer. In our afternoon session these groups will report back and together we will discuss the way forward. On Saturday evening at 7:00 we will meet again for one hour to pray for each other and close.
